March Favourites 2016

March favourites

March has been another month to just fly by up in Frazer Manor. I have no idea where the time has gone but this month I have had a couple (read – thousands!) of favourites I’ve wanted to share with you. Read on to find out what my March Favourites were……..

A couple of lovely new finds entered my home this month and a couple of old ones re-entered the makeup bag.

Firstly I have to talk about the beautiful Stila “Eyes are the window” shadow palette in “Soul.” I’ve owned this palette since its release and its one I always find I return to a good mixture of both shimmery and matte shades and the infamous  shade “kitten” is also included in this set. The red based browns in the palette are favourites on my green eyes. Owning this little beauty makes me wonder why Stila is not more popular in the UK.

The next item I’d already done a review on this month, The Garnier Moisture bomb night cream. I love it! If I’m not going out in the day I use this instead of the day cream as I love the texture. I’ve not have a single clogged pore or any feelings of dehydration since using this! #loveit! (You can find the review I did on both the day and night creams HERE)

An interesting one that I’ve added to my favourites this month, I have completely ripped off Harry Makes It Up but for an alternative use is the Cocoon, Grid it. An amazing board that I have previously been using for college or when away to hold my wires and gadgets without a crazy tangled mess at the bottom of my bag. I hang it up on a hook at home and it makes it easy to locate any gadgety bits and bobs. What Harrys use was for however was storing makeup products and brushes to use on set. Going to try that out next week when I return to college.

My mascara of choice this month is Avons Big and False Lash Volume Mascara in Navy. Blue is big this season on the eyes, bright, bold and smoky. This blue mascara has been a great way to dip my toes in and make my lashes look rather pretty too. The mascara held a lovely amount of colour on the lashes and kept both a curl and volume throughout the day. Also a great price point if you don’t want to put the cash forward for Benefits There real blue mascara alternative.

Lastly but defiantly not leastly Benefits Dew the Hoola, When this come out it was one of those next day deliveries from Boots where I watched out the window to await its arrival. It did not disappoint, I had to include this into my March favourites without a doubt. I will do a much more in-depth review later this week but to give a little insight I’ve used it by mixing in with foundation to deepen the colour post tanning and over the top of my base to do anything from a light contour to a subtle bronzed glow. It’s ubber bendable. I can see it will be a staple to the makeup bag over the summer months!

After all that I welcome April with open arms for some better weather and many more little finds!!! xXx
